Rathwood Easter Train & Pantomime is a firm family favourite on the Easter Calendar of events in Carlow and attracts families from all over the country each year. Book for any number of shows between April 12th and 21st and then head back to Avlon House Bed and Breakfast

The International Pan Celtic Festival: 22-26 April 2025

A celebration of Celtic Culture – Music lovers rejoice! This 5 day event is one of our favourite festivals that brings the Celtic nations including Scotland, Brittany, Wales, Scotland and more together under the umbrella of music. Enjoy singers, musicians and storytellers take over the town in the run up to Easter 2025. Our charming B&B is the ideal base for festival-goers who want to be close to the action but also enjoy a peaceful retreat after a lively day. The Carlow Arts Festival – 4-8 June 2025

A Feast for the Senses! – Although the full programme of events has not yet been announced, some events have already gone on sale, and this year’s festival looks like it will draw record crowds to Carlow town.
